the project of the day was to paint our balcony door red. nap time came around and for a second i thought i would be able to work on the door. Connor was very interested in what i was doing. i gave him a bucket of water and a foam brush and let him "paint" the driveway with water.
Connor Pollock had a great time for about 15 minutes he soon changed from painting the driveway to painting himself. we decided to get out the pool and play in the water. i have to admit i love working on things for the house.... but to play with my boys is also high on my list. both Riley and Connor enjoyed splashing in the
cold water...

I turned my attention away from Connor for a moment
and he decided to fill his pool with flowers from around our patio...which actually made for a great picture....

After playing in the pool and a few hours of work at the awesome outlets i came home with some energy, enough to finish the door so here are some before and after shots of our new red balcony door
